Thank you!

Hello Everyone,
First off I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported my business. I have finally realized how much hard work I have put into doing my very best for you. All the countless hours preparing and coming up with ideas for pictures, charging batteries, preparing my camera bag, making sure I have all my memory cards cleared and on hand. I thank all of you for making me that paranoid I would forget something and hurt my reputation, but in all realizing that I overly prepare myself for the best photo shoots I do. In every single appointment I have had fun capturing your moments and taking your ideas with some that I have to make it the best experience for you as my client.
I wanted to say thank you and tell you how much I appreciate your business after I experienced an unprepared photographer at a wedding this weekend. It was a small wedding but in all she was not ready for the job at hand. I was a by standard sitting in the church hanging out and taking photos when I thought I had a good shot. Photos were going well just a few hick-ups with staging people but that was it till the photographer disappeared. I kept thinking were she was and why she wasn't taking family photos and why the parents of the groom and bride were posing family for shots. Come to find out her batteries had died in her camera.
I was approached by the bride and was asked if I could take some photos of them while the official photographer's batteries were charging. I agreed and asked what they wanted and immediately started to work. We went outside and started shooting in front of the church and got plenty of good photos when the official photographer came out again. She thanked me for stepping in and I backed off it was her job and I wasn't going to take it away from her. I continued to take photos while she was. I stood behind her so that I wouldn't take the eyes of her subjects away from her camera and at one point while I was behind her she was moving and saw me there and so "Oh I'm sorry I don't mean to be in your way."
She was new to this and not confident in her position as official photographer. I told her not to worry that she was in charge and I was just shooting for fun at this point. I asked her what model her camera was and it was a Canon, but a newer model than mine so after I offered a spare battery I had on me for her to use we found out that it was the wrong size. I told her she can go online and find a deal for batteries just hinting that it would be good to have extras. Not sure if she will take the advice but I was trying to be helpful. Once we were cold enough and headed inside she thanked me for helping and taking photos so that the bride and groom would have more photo choices and also thanked me for trying to see if my batteries would work for her. She informed me she had another battery coming from Sioux Falls. This was around 4pm and thinking about it the wedding started at 5pm and a battery was on its way I think I should have stayed and taken photos of the actual ceremony just in case, but again I wasn't going to overstep the official photographer.
So after that story I again thank you all for making me a very overly prepared photographer who loves what she does and won't hesitate at any opportunity! It is situations like this that show me how much I get out of all that preparation and time making sure I have all my equipment at hand and that I can never blame myself for not being ready.
